PricePer is an independent price-comparison project based in St. John's, Newfoundland, built for shoppers buying from Canadian retailers.
A cheaper sticker price can hide a smaller package or less of what you need. PricePer makes those differences easier to compare by showing the price per useful unit, alongside the source, purchase conditions, and last price check.
What you can compare
- Protein powder by cost per 25g of protein, using package and nutrition-label facts.
- Coffee: whole beans and ground coffee have separate comparisons by cost per 100g; pods are compared by capsule count and compatible brewing system.
- Dry adult dog food by cost per 1,000 kcal, using package weight and label-backed calorie density. This measures cost, not nutritional suitability.
Coverage is still growing. A product needs enough current evidence to receive a value rank, and missing or uncertain facts stay visible. See the Methodology for the formulas and limits.
